When you buy PEDIGREE, you help us to support homeless dogs in Australia. There are many ways that PEDIGREE® address the dog homelessness issue through the PEDIGREE® Adoption Drive including money donations, advertising, food donations, events plus much more.
During the 2011 PEDIGREE® Adoption Drive, PEDIGREE® will donate at least $100,000 to PetRescue to help them support rescue groups in Australia find forever loving homes for homeless dogs.
As well as cash donations, PEDIGREE® will also invest over $1 million of advertising to create awareness of the dog homelessness issue in Australia. During the campaign, we aim to inspire people to consider adoption when they next get a dog, educate about the dog homelessness issue & help people spread the word.
Through the PEDIGREE® Adoption Drive Facebook page, PEDIGREE® also donate a bowl of dog food to feed a homeless dog for every fan of the page. We do this to encourage people to find out more about dog homelessness, share stories & information with other dog lovers and most importantly tell their friends & family about the campaign to help spread awareness.
